Teaching Assistant Level 3
Salary Range: Grade 3 - £27,254 - £33,699 FTE
Actual Salary Range: £21,967- £27,161
Hours per week: 33.5 hour per week

Featherstone Primary School is a friendly, welcoming and vibrant school, where the children thrive. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and hardworking team. We are proud of our school and continue to make strides so that our ‘Good’ Ofsted with ‘Outstanding’ elements are built upon. The successful candidate must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
The skills and experience we are looking for:
- Ambitious, imaginative, able to inspire, challenge and motivate all children.
- Flexible, creative and committed to developing their expertise as a Teaching Assistant.
- Well organised with high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and on their own initiative
- A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification e.g. NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and learning in School.

Featherstone is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and expects all staff to share this commitment. Successful candidates will be subject to all necessary pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS, Childcare Disqualification (where applicable), qualifications (where applicable), medical fitness, identity and right to work. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
