The Special Educational Needs Parent Partnership Service exists to provide advice and information to parents and pupils in Birmingham.  This information is designed to explain special educational needs procedures, to help you understand the law and procedures that affect you and your child, and to provide information on other issues that may be useful.

Bereavement Counselling – Winston’s Wish

Winston’s Wish offers the widest range of practical support and guidance to children, families, professionals and anyone concerned about bereaved children. Their services give bereaved families the opportunity to talk about and make sense of what has happened, to meet with us and to meet others in a similar situation

Birmingham Families and Safeguarding Team

The Birmingham Family Support and Safeguarding Service is made up of:

·         Children’s centre staff and partner agencies (eg health visiting) providing services for all children

·         Family Support teams providing services for children with additional needs

·         Specialist Children’s Social Care teams providing services for children with complex needs

Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service(CAMHS)

The community mental health service provides support for young people who live in Birmingham with a Birmingham GP and the inpatient service is available for young people from across the country.

 

Any professional working with a child or young person in a professional capacity can complete a  referral form and send it to CAMHS.

Sure Start
